New Art Cards For Sale
I’ve just finished tagging and cataloging the next big set of Art cards for sale. Each of these cards are handpainted over many months. Often when I show people my card process they are amazed and inspired. I have hundreds if not a couple of thousands of these in current production. These are what I work on when I’m relaxing or watching a movie (yes ANOTHER movie). My coffee table is often filled to spilling over with cards that I’ve added a bit to here and there.
This is where I use up my extra paint, or add pieces of things I have on hand (like painted tape). I experiment and try out new brush strokes and tools. Zendoodles start to show up here and there on the pieces, and each one is it’s own expression. They give me inspiration and ideas for future BIGGER paintings.
Someone asked me if they are archival…and the answer is a big resounding NO….well maybe the odd one. The thing is, this is me just playing on scraps of paper or cards. Sometimes a good piece of paper will get into the mix, but most of the time it’s just what I find has paint on it. I’ve even used the brown paper that covers my work table, cutting it up into the standard sizes and adding more paint to ‘complete’ it.
All of the cards are inventoried and cataloged, signed and sealed with a clean envelope in a plastic sleeve. They are ready for purchase as gifts or to be used as cards you might send. Now you could just go and buy a Halmark card, but when you want to send the very best, only a Hand-Painted card will do.
